Happy New Year! I hope that you had a lovely holiday and restful break with your families. I am looking forward to a wonderful 2017 together!
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
Literacy – Our letter of the week is F. Our songs, stories, and poems will focus on the letter F. Please think of an F item with your child for sharing on Thursday.
Math – We will review shapes and begin to create and process graphs.
Science – For the month of January, we will learn about weather.
Faith Formation – Children will identify one of the special seasons of our liturgical year, the Epiphany. They will begin to understand the story of the Holy Family of Jesus, Joseph and Mary, and the Magi’s visit. They will learn that Jesus was a child like them. As a part of this lesson, we will visit the Nativity Scene in the church.
ABC Music & Me – Laugh & Learn: Unit 5 – Carnival of Music (Lesson 1 & 2)
