Dear Preschool Families,
Preschool Conferences –In early November, you will be receiving an email for conference sign ups. If you are unable to attend any of the available times, no worries. Just contact me and we can arrange a time either before or after Thanksgiving week. PRESCHOOL WILL BE ADDING ONE ADDITIONAL DAY FOR CONFERENCES ~ THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 21, FROM 8:30 – 2:30. Keep this in mind as you make your holiday plans.
Safe Environment Training– We will be offering a Safe Environment class Monday, October 21st at 10am in the parish center. This is a 3 hour class that is required for participation in the classroom, on field trips and as a coach.
To participate in the class you will need to login to the VIRTUS site and register by completing a profile, submit a background check, read and ‘sign’ off on education documentation, Class registration is required www.virtusonline.org/virtus/index.cfm.
Picture Retake Day– LifeTouch will be at HRS for retakes on Thursday, 10/24 from 8-10:00. You can get a form in the school office or call 253-518-2400. This option is for all students, P2, P3, and Pre-K.
2020-2021 Kindergartener Or New Preschooler?
September 15th-November 15th is the priority application period for parish and current school families for next school year (September 2020-June 2021). If you have an incoming Kindergarten or new Preschool (2s, 3s, PreK) student that you would like to enroll into Holy Rosary School, applications are now due. Holy Rosary prioritizes siblings, but we cannot allocate a spot for your student if we do not have an application by November 15th. All Kindergarten students must have an application submitted. Our Fall Open House is Saturday, November 2nd, 10am-1pm. Any questions, please contact admissions@holyrosaryws.org
Jackets to Preschool– As the weather becomes cold and wet, please be sure to send your child with a jacket, labeled with your child’s name. We will try to get out to recess unless it is terribly cold or rainy.
No School Monday, November 11 – Holy Rosary School and Preschool will be closed in honor of Veteran’s Day.
Christmas Program– Please mark your calendar for our Preschool Christmas Program on December 17. This event is only for P3 and Pre-K students.
