Dear Families,
HAPPY HALLOWEEN WEEK! Here’s a look ahead at our fun-filled week:
Thank you to Nicky’s mom, Elena, for organizing our Halloween celebration. We will be having a short party on Thursday at 10:40. If you would like to assist, please email me. We encourage you to send your child to school in orange and black. NO COSTUMES PLEASE. Thank you!
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES –
Literacy Time – Our songs, poems, and stories will focus on spiders and of course, Halloween!
Faith Formation – All Saints Day – Listen to stories of saints as heroes of our faith who are part of the family of the Church with God in heaven.
Math – We will focus on counting up to ten items with an emphasis on 1:1 correspondence.
Science – Spiders!

Extra News and Upcoming Events
Preschool Conferences –. Our Parent Conferences will take place toward the end of November. Please refer to your preschool calendar. There will be no school on November 23 – 25 as we will be conferencing during those days. Preschool will be closed November 26 and 27 for Thanksgiving.
This year, you will be signing up for conferences online. You will receive an email the first week of November with details.
Jackets to Preschool – As the weather becomes cold and wet, please be sure to send your child with a jacket, labeled with your child’s name. We will try to get out to recess unless it is terribly cold or rainy.
Christmas Program – Please mark your calendar for our Preschool Christmas Program on December 9.
