Happy November! I hope you have enjoyed this blustery weekend and had a Happy Halloween.
Preschool Conferences are quickly approaching. You will find a Pre-Conference Questionnaire in your child’s file. Please fill it out and return it by Thursday. You will also be receiving an email with conference sign up information this week. Conferences will be held during the week of Thanksgiving. Our conference blocks are 20 minutes each, and we do ask that you please do not bring your children, as we are unable to provide childcare. Thank you!
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES –
Literacy – This is an exciting week as we will begin our Letter Work. The children will be exposed to each letter and sound in alphabetical order over the course of the year.
Letter of the Week – A
Sharing – Please have your child bring an A item to share with the class on Thursday. This item will be displayed on our Sharing Shelf and sent home at the end of the day.
Our songs, stories, and poems will focus on the letter A.
Faith Formation – We Have Things to Share – Children are able to name gifts that God has given to us to help others. They will also demonstrate awareness of the needs and feelings of others.
Math – We will continue to focus on counting and number identification
ABC Music & Me – Laugh & Learn: Unit 3 – Let’s Play
