Dear families,
I hope that each of you had a lovely Easter and spring break with your family. I just returned from a week in New Orleans on a service trip with 130 high school students who worked with Habitat for Humanity to rebuild homes that were destroyed in Hurricane Katrina. It was an amazing experience and I thought of your children often. They are our future and I feel honored to be a part of their lives during this incredible time of growth and development.
Easter Egg Recycle – We will have a large box in the foyer for plastic eggs left over from the Easter egg hunts last Thursday.
Requests – We are still in need of some shoes for our “extra clothes” bins. When children have accidents, they often end up with soggy shoes. So if your child has outgrown any shoes, please consider passing them along to us.
