Giving Tree – We will continue our board game and diaper collection through December 14. Thank you so much for your generous donations.
Cross-walk Use – If you park across Genesee Street in the West Seattle Christian parking lot, please be sure to walk up to the corner to cross the street. This is particularly important at drop-off time. Thank you.
Wish List –We could still use a few more toilet paper rolls and would also love some baby food jars if you have any… Thanks!
Tree Lot – Please be sure to visit the Holy Rosary School Tree Lot to purchase your Christmas tree this year! A portion of the proceeds benefit Hickman House, West Seattle Food Bank and the West Seattle Helpline, as well as the everyday operations of Holy Rosary School. Invite family, friends and neighbors to join us for our annual Christmas tradition in the parking lot behind Lanigan Gym (by the big toy).
Christmas Program – Next week is our big show. Please remember to bring your child to classroom 1A in the big school, (through the main doors and straight back to the classroom on the right) at 6:20. Please have them wear holiday attire. The show will begin promptly at 6:30 and will last about 30 minutes. We will then have refreshments and we promise to have you out the door by 7:30. Extended family and friends are welcome. Many thanks to those of you who are bringing cookies, paper products, etc.
CLASSOOM ACTIVITIES
Letter of the Week – E – Please have your child bring in an E item on Thursday.
Our songs, stories, and poems will focus on the letter E and Christmas.
We will spend much of our week preparing for our show and working on some special holiday projects.
Faith Formation – The Children will hear stories about where Jesus was born. They will recognize the Holy Family as Jesus’ family on earth with Mary and Joseph. They will make a Nativity scene and tell their families about each of the Nativity scene figures.
Music – We will be practicing our songs for the Christmas show.
