CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
Literacy – This week’s letter is the letter: G
Our songs, stories, and poems will focus on the letter G, Martin Luther King, and weather.
We will soon begin a student sign in process when the children arrive at school. You will find a letter formation sheet in your filer. Please refer to this in helping your child work on writing his/her name. Please don’t worry about this addition to our school days. We will take this slowly, beginning with just one letter as needed.
Math – We will continue to work on graphing, counting, and number recognition.
Science – We will continue to read and learn about weather.
ABC Music & Me – Carnival of Music. This month’s songs and instrumental activities focus on a visit to the carnival.
Faith Formation – The Wedding at Cana – Scripture: John 2: 1 – 11
Children will recall stories of Jesus who was a teacher and a healer who performed miracles.
