Dear Families,
Happy fall! I hope that you enjoy a beautiful Seattle fall week with your family.
*Remember to click the above link for your child’s class to get important information, including snack calendars.
Important items to send with your child every day:
- water bottle (filled and labeled with your child’s name)
- raincoat/jacket (clearly labeled)
- change of clothes (for potty accidents or in case they get wet out on the playground)
Snack reminders:
Thank you for providing snacks for the children! We will post the snack calendar on the bulletin board in our foyer each month. You will also find the upcoming two weeks of snack children listed in your individual class letter each week. Please send a carb and a fruit or vegetable in addition to anything else that you would like to include (string cheese, or cheese slices are always popular). We have 22 students in Pre-K, 18 students in P3, and 8 students in P2.

Birthdays:
Just a reminder that you are welcome to bring birthday treats on your child’s birthday if you would like to. This will be in addition to our regularly scheduled snack that day. If your child has a summer birthday and you would like to celebrate it at school, you may choose any day of the year. Just let us know in advance. (perhaps on your child’s half birthday?)Book Orders:
Many thanks to our Book Order mom, Ann from the Pre-K class. Our first flyer will be sent home on Monday. I do recommend that you look through the flyer. There are so many great books that are quite inexpensive. You will be receiving an email from her soon.
Jobs:
We are still looking for someone to be our Preschool Plant Parent. This person would keep the pots by our front door looking fresh seasonally. Last year, we had an amazing vegetable garden in the pots if this interests you? We also have a planter on the playground, that you could maintain if you’d like. Please email me if you’re interested.
Picture Make-up day will be on October 24. We’ll get you more information as this date approaches.
