I hope that you have enjoyed this rainy and sunny weekend. A perfect mixture for our weather unit.
Next weekend 1/31 is our Open House right after 10:30 mass. We hope to see you there! (Please have your child wear his or her HR Preschool shirt, if possible.)
We have been so fortunate to have Teacher Sara with us for the past months. Last week was her final week to assist us. The good news is that she is the full time assistant in Pre-K so your children will get to enjoy her again next year!
CLASSROOM ACTIVITIES
Literacy – This week’s letter is the letter I
Our songs, stories, and poems will focus on weather and the letter I.
Math – Match My Number – We will continue to work on number identification and counting objects.
Faith Formation – The Golden Rule – Treat others the way you want to be treated.
Scripture: Luke 6: 27 – 31
Children will learn about the Golden Rule that Jesus gave us. They will develop a sense of justice.
Science – This will be our final week to discuss weather.
ABC Music & Me – We will complete our Carnival unit this week.
