October 4, 2016
I hope that you will be able to get out and enjoy this lovely fall weekend with your children. What a perfect time for the children to observe the changing colors of the leaves.

10/12 at 10:00am – Visit from the Seattle Fire Department
More information about our 10/12 Fire Truck visit: On Wednesday, October 12, the Seattle Fire Department will visit the preschool. This is always an exciting day for the children, as they get to see a fire truck up close (and even sit in it). They are scheduled to arrive at 10am (provided there’s no emergency at the time). Parents are welcome to join us. (Please be sure that you have completed your Safe Environment Training. You can check your status with Melissa in the Parish Office if you are unsure – 935-8353) I will put a sign up sheet in the foyer this week so that you can let me know if you plan to attend. Bring your cameras!!
Preschool Conferences – Our Parent Conferences are coming up in November. Please refer to your preschool calendar. There will be no school on November 22, or 23 as we will be conferencing during those days. Preschool will be closed November 24 and 25 for Thanksgiving.
Snack – Thank you for so generously and creatively providing snack for the children each day. Please also be sure to send a filled water bottle each day. The kind with tops that come off tend to spill, so please avoid these if possible.
Parent Resource Library – Please check out our Parent Resource Library in the preschool foyer. We have many wonderful books and cds for you to borrow.
Enjoy the week!
